Herefordshire Apple Tart

Made from delicious Herefordshire apples with a light pastry base, apple compote filling topped with slices of a variety of eating apples and glazed.  We only make this in the autumn apple season so put a note in your diary to pre-order so that you don’t miss out! Serves 6

Cooking apples, eating apples, Plain flour (wheat), British White sugar, butter, Cinnamon, Herefordshire free-range eggs, salt

This pudding is already cooked so can be eaten warm or cold.
To eat from frozen: remove all packaging when frozen and place on baking tray. Defrost for 3-4 hours at room temperature or 6 hours in the fridge. Place in a pre-heated oven: 160°C electric, 150°C fan assisted or gas mark 3 for 10 minutes to warm through or can be eaten cold.
If purchased fresh, remove all packaging and place on baking tray. To warm through, cooking instructions as above.
Do not re-heat a second time.
