Pear Frangipane Tart

This delicious and wonderfully light tart combines the fruity flourish of the pears with the sweet, nutty almond-flavoured frangipane. Give it a dusting of icing sugar as you take it out of the oven and perhaps a scoop of 100% natural vanilla ice cream and you have a truly scrumptious pudding. Serves 6

Pear, British white sugar, butter, egg, plain flour (wheat), almonds, Demerara sugar, raspberry jam, salt, water, almond oil.

Remove all packaging when frozen and place on flan dish. Defrost for 3-4 hours at room temperature or 6 hours in the fridge. This tart can be eaten chilled, at room temperature or warm. To warm through, place in a pre-heated oven: 160°C electric, 150°C fan assisted or gas mark 3 for 10 minutes.
