Sticky Date & Toffee Torte

This wonderfully delicate sponge torte is infused with fresh, sweet dates and then topped with a rich, sticky toffee sauce. This is a classic combination enhanced only by a splash of ice cream and extra toffee sauce and the result is the perfect pudding for a chilly winter’s day. Serves 6 and 12

This pudding is already cooked so just needs warming through. Remove all packaging when frozen and place on a flan dish. Defrost for 3-4 hours at room temperature or 6 hours in the fridge. Preheat the oven to 180°C electric, 160°C fan assisted, gas mark 5. Place tray in centre of oven and warm through for 20 minutes. Allow to stand for 2 minutes before serving.
